Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.

Great band, their songs still sound fresh today 40 years later.

Just a shame they're scousers.
Scousers are generally sound and the most like Mancunians of any other people.

Away from the footy; going to gigs and clubs over the years I’ve met plenty of decent Scousers, I went out with one for about 18 months, I’ve worked with them… they’re generally alright.

i use to think that. I’ve been to see the bunnymen nigh on 60 times. Some right twat scousers who arefucking abusive.

First heard them in Pips, Red Frame White Light and Electricity. Loved the first album and always wanted the die-cut sleeve. Who else could get away with writing a song about an oil refinery?

I wasn’t hugely into electronic music, but there was some I liked.

You’ve put me in the mood for a little Architecture and Morality, which I have on now with a cuppa.

Still struggling to get through a full album. English Electric seems okay but some of that late eighties/nineties stuff is Stock, Aitken and Waterman level bad.
