Where i came from a man accused of such crimes is given a chance to prove otherwise.

You're right. Why don't you tell those Navy Seals they should have walked up to him, while he is shooting at them, and just ask him nicely to come with them? They gave him a chance to surrender, he chose to keep shooting.
I couldn't give a shit that he's dead, but to suggest that the US would rather have taken him back to the States to face trial is ludicrous. It's the last thing they'd have wanted to do.

Why where they in Pakistan? How do your Navy Seals go into a bin Laden strong hold and have no casualties? A 10 year old war , 1140 something Americans killed, yet this mission that captured/killed one of the 'most wanted' man is executed to perfection. To me it sound like an assassination. After the assassination attempts on Gaddafi how can i think otherwise?

According to the BBC his body was 'buried at sea'. Yeah, right....

After bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in Pakistan, senior administration officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition. That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult, the official said. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea.
The official, who spoke Monday on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive national security matters, did not immediately say where that occurred.

As staed earlier, Yeah, right.

Nice to see Americans doing there best to clear everything up by giving the person with the most recognizable face in the world a sea burial........as you do to international terrorist and Muslims generally....................that bunch of bud drinking, gun popping, crap football watching, burger eating inbreeds will NEVER learn...............If you want to put things to bed give us clarity, if you don't want to be attacked then don't make martyrs. And as for Pakistan........how strange that the worlds most wanted man was living in luxury in a military academy town on day to day kidney dialysis .......and the Pakistani government apparently knew nothing of it.............does anyone else smell and fairly large rat?

typical US policy of "you cut of the head and the body dies"....the problem is, bin laden has not been the "head" of al-q for years now....and the new fear would be for several even more extreme break away groups to now be formed
