It's just a quote about Bin Laden.. that's it.

Straight away after September 11th huge significance was placed on Osama who was propelled into a far more important position than he probably should've been. Yes Osama approved that attack but Khalid Sheikh Mohammed planned it and he was arrested a long time ago but because of the aftermath of 9/11 the latter was hardly celebrated (that I can recall).

I can understand it in some ways as it was the largest attack on US soil and obviously caused a lot of upset but they have a bit of a history of trying to take out the heads of organisations and it doesn't necessarily always work like that.

They thought they had hit the jackpot when they killed Saddam, neglecting after the invasion to give any of his old Baathists jobs and it didn't take long for Iraq to descend into sectarian hell.

Certainly when you look at Al Qaeda and a lot of the significant attacks (9/11, Bali 2002, Madrid 2004, 7/7) they were coming in the years after the first one. I saw a documentary a while back in which its fighters were even forced out of a part of Iraq around 2006/7 because they were pissing tribal leaders off, so while I can understand the reaction from the US public, I am not so sure it is as significant now as it might have been a few years ago, if that makes sense.

The Americans got Osama Bin Laden today.
He was caught by surprise.
He didn`t think that they collected Bins on a Bank Holiday Monday.

All the conspiracy theorists must live in their own little world of paranoia.

Why would the US announce he was dead if they weren't 110%?

For the most powerful nation in the world, a wrong judgement would have made the US. & obama an absolute laughing stock.

He's dead, end of, anyone who thinks otherwise are in serious need of help.

'special rendition'
Guantanamo Bay
CIA

Believing anything the US military tell you is simply naiive.
