Not really. Have a burial site on land and it becomes a shrine to all terrorists. at Sea no such problem. He is lucky we stood by his faith and buried him within 24 hours
which part of Cuba? The bit that despite attack from the worlds strongest superpower is just about managing to keep its head above water while maintaining a national health service or the bit that was taken from the country and is a no go zone to the Cuban people? I think anyone who has watched this shitt unfold has the right to ask if its a conspiracy? Ive still not seen any plane wreckage outside the pentagon and why didn't Pakistan know that the worlds most wanted man was living in their back yard.........................this turn of events is so dodgy looking and thats before investigative journalists start asking questions, well the ones that are allowed to at least!!!jerseyblue said:brass neck said:I'm quite sad that the west made the mass murderer, I'm quite sad that the mass murderer was courted by the west when it suited, I'm quite sad that his murders are reported as murders and our murders are reported as war, I'm quite sad that the posh have created this whole episode but the working class and ill educated have paid with their lives, I'm quite sad that the whole thing from beginning to end has been riddled with plot twist, confusion smoke and mirrors, brain washing, media manipulation and I'm quite sad that the world at large has generally lapped it up like we are told to!!
At least you don't sound like Carl Marx...if you think this whole shit is a conspiracy go find yourself a fucking hole to live in (Cuba and North Korea come to mind)

If you don't care whether you live or die, you can morally and financially bankrupt the U.S. and its citizens with only the smallest amount of effort.
I presume that the Civil Contingencies Act and the Prevention of Terrorism Act are now both going to be rescinded as their excuse was terrorism?
Wait, you mean that governments don't give back power that they steal under the guise of security? Who'd of thunk it?
This is an excellent point and one that hadn't occurred to me. Given that Osama Bin Laden's name was mentioned every fucking time this disgracefully abused piece of legislation was being justified I presume its purpose is now obsolete.
The same people who will be proclaiming this as a decisive victory will be the same ones that will resist all calls to repeal (or at least amend) the POTA.
In terms of the dead or alive argument I agree we should do all we can to uphold our (superior) values but this was never going to happen on this occasion. Not least because a Bin Laden that was alive would invite far more potential for terrorism on the USA than a dead one.
One other thing. We still hear Elvis rumours to this day. They have probably just started to recede in volume over the last couple of years since the 30th anniversary of his death. I think we are in for a sustained and equally tedious barrage of Bin Laden rumours for the next 30 years. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Jihadist websites are saying that as the Blackhawk helicopters landed the Navy Seals outside Bin Laden's compound loudspeakers from inside blared out the message, 'Nice to see you, to see you nice.' Bastards.

Hang on Gord, you did say how long before the conspiracists start on the thread, or words to this effect, and now you are at it, you either think there is a lie or you don't? ;)
