They had the house under watch since August..they could have taken him out anytime since then... thats why this stinks this is a statement...but the statement is YES WE CAN & 4 MORE YEARS...nothing more nothing less..

We take in everything we are fed.. via TV the press.. thats what 99% of us do eat bullshit.. & think it tastes nice lol.. EYES WIDE SHUT...

Just because people don't subscribe to every conspiracy theory imaginable does not make them naive, as you appear to be suggesting here. Maybe some of us have considered these theories and rejected all or most of them as unlikely, impossible or unsustainable.

Also the fact that you appear to consider yourself as part of an elite (1%) of people who are ITK's smacks of intellectual snobbery.

It was a tactic used in the Moscow Cinema siege, it was not really that successful.

There are some ridiculous conspiracy theories in this thread, most of them from bitter left wingers who are pretty gutted that the US finally got their man, the pissed off nature of their posts is quite obvious.

Is this a shot at me? There seems to be only really me and Soulboy who have posted since you last said this. What conspiracy theories? Feel free to evidentially disprove anything in my posts.

You also entirely ignored my last post. It was only three days ago that I was telling our fearless leader about my admiration for America and how if it wasn't for my Mum's illness, I'd be at CALTECH currently.

I'm not "bitter" that the US have caught Bin Laden, I'm pissed off at their huge hypocrisy and their stupidity about the consequences of their actions.

Most right thinking people know this is not the end, but it will give a sense of closure to the US and more importantly the victims, of Al Qaeda inspired atrocities, Nairobi, New York, Madrid, London.

Well, I'm glad that we've just broken every single one of our own system of laws and our shared morality for something..

It also sends out a clear message to the rest of the Al Qaeda leadership that they are not safe anywhere

Yes, because all Islamic fascists fear death?

You tell me then, if the aging and somewhat frail Bin Laden could have chosen any way in the world to go out, how do you think it would have been? I'm guessing death by infidel.

Not so sure what's "LOL" about this picture. Looking at it I suggest shooting is about to happen/ happening/ happened. The two most 'affected' high powered people are the civilians that have had no previous involvement in war or death, thus the grim/ shocked look on their faces. This incident will have changed the core of their being, inside. You cannot come back from that.

So "LOL"??

Sometimes I think you're mature, but maybe I was wrong...

So what laws have been broken?

I guess the ageing and frail Bin Laden would have liked to have died a natural death whilst still laughing at the West's inability to capture him

If they did not fear death than may be they would be out there doing the fighting? Just like the old man of the mountain (Rashid ad-Din Sinan) it was only the young indoctrinated men that were sent to there certain deaths, never the older men, it's been a tatic in the Middle East for 1000's of years

I really do not get where you and others are coming from, Bin laden started it in Nairobi, and it culminated with 9/11, I really don't see what consequences there will be, if they would have taken him alive we would have been subject to all kinds of hijacks etc, just like the Black September, I guess there might be more bombings etc, but can you say that they would not have happened anyway?

By the way no shot was fired, it's a debate ;-)

When did James Bond do this? I must have missed that one.

Strangely enough, this method has been used before in the past...

It also sends out a clear message to the rest of the Al Qaeda leadership that they are not safe anywhere, especially as the Pakistanis are going to have to do something about the rouge SIS elements, that the world and his dogs knows about, who have been actively helping terrorist groups, the very same groups that have been killing 1000's of their fellow countrymen, it's quite obvious Bin Laden was housed where he was because he was protected, it was a non pashtune area right next tot he Pakistani equivalent to Sandhurst

Finally got their man? A sense of closure??
Does that mean the US are now gonna stop bombing the shit out of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians because their manhunt is over? I very much doubt it.
The US's attempt to bring global business, oh sorry i meant democracy, to Afganistan and Iraq seems a little hypocritical given their complete disregard of one of the cornerstones of modern democratic societies and their willingness to behave in a way they themselves label barbaric.
