Absolutely. He killed her in cold rage for God only knows what reason. His excuse was a joke. Nobody is in bed with their partner, wakes up and hears a noise and 1: Doesn't realise their partner isn't in the bed with them or 2: Check where their partner is and shout out to them before firing a gun.

I'v lived there for a while and I have family out there. The last thing they would do is go shooting through doors when it could be your partner on the other side despite the risk to your property. Totally irresponsible imo.

Dead of night , no legs , no time to check who is in bed or not , it is easy to say what you would do tbf , or he could be a stone cold killer
