He did a full pre season with Valencia so he should be fit. He doesn't have an EU passport but a work permit will be a formality since he's featured in the WC and Copa in the last 15 months.
Ah right cheers. Hopefully it won't take too long to get the permit then & he can get settled in.

The central Nicolas Otamendi, until today Valencia CF player has eliminated all that has been in your account that has to do with Valencia.
In the two photos of his profile on that network, there is no trace of che. Both appears wearing the shirt of his selection, Argentina. The only thing that has not been removed, is that club Valencia player in his biography. We'll see if in the next few hours that also changes ...

Can't see why some people are complaining about this signing
1. We haven't had a full season out of VK for a few years now. This gives us quality cover
2. MDM is 34/35 and we would need to replace in summer anyway - word is he wants to go back to Argentina then so why not replace a little earlier if opportunity there
3. Mangala has been fantastic first 2 games - I want it to continue and wanted him to stay but certainly don't think we can make decisions on him after 2 games
4. Denayer is a talented kid who performed for Celtic - he needs to play regularly to develop. I'd suggest a loan to a top championship club or maybe an Everton/Villa type club would be ideal. Then we can better assess his level.

He doesn't like San Miguel or paella.
He's more a bottle of Buckfast fish and chips and mushy peas man.
