Other fans view on Inter game?

The S*n's view.

No I'm not making this up.

Roberto Mancini gave Mario Balotelli ANOTHER telling off as Man City won the Dublin Super Cup at the Aviva yesterday

Might be a bit off topic but a chelsea fan has just come out with a cracking quote on aguero when comparing him to tevez:

He's career will rot at man shitty just like it did for tevez

Pre season means nothing, especially as Serie A starts 2 weeks after the Premiership, meaning Inter are behind you in terms of season preparation. Spurs beat Roma 5-0 in pre-season before our now infamous run of 2 points from 8 games, shows how little these results matter.

Bring on 28th August

judging from our own performance we played well regardless of what stage Inter are at.

bring on august 28 indeed, but bring on next may, as that's where the real truth will lie.

He was a depressing signing by City - representing real quality, Aguero unfortunately is another one.

Nice to see.

We have changed football in England. Because of us, Liverpool are on the slide, Arsenal are like rabbits frozen in the headlights, Spurs are scratching around for bargains during the transfer window and the rags are in denial. Silva and Aguero are the latest players who would, in the past, have gone to the Sky 4. Not any more, they know they will be set up for life if they come to us, and in Bobby, we have a manager who can mould all these superstars into a winning team.

told him not to squander chances like the way he did the *tired pass back to Silva just before he got substituted. The media again looking for scandal when its just normal stuff.

SS Comentators pissed me off tho with the whole backheel thing again, snide lil comments everytime he did one that worked. HE WASNT SHOOTING FOR GOAL, HE THOUGHT HE WAS OFFSIDE!! ffs.

We played hard in this match. Inter just didn't seem up for the fight and some of their players, especially Stankovic and Pandev were going down unchallenged holding their ankle. City looked up for this, and with players like De Jong, Milner and Kompany (who treat every match seriously) we were never going to play anything less. We were very strong.

To be perfectly honest, I thought you were excellent. Silva was probably your best player but it was a great team effort. I was surprised at Inter, they were very poor - thought they'd have a bit more about them. You were certainly worthy of the win though. SWP had great control for your third - would love us to sign him but can't see it happening.

I think you should be very optimistic after today's performance - I'm convinced you'll challenge for the title. Not 100% sure if you'd sweep Barcelona under the carpet though.

There's an opposing fan's view ;)

Hello to everyone. I just recently joined because I have taken an interest in Man City over the past two years or so, they way I look at your team is from an outsider's perspective and looking at the City's development has been VERY interesting, both from a human and a tactical perspective.

I am a Barcelona fan and I don't watch TOO much EPL but I really just love football, especially the tactical game (in that regard I am a big fan of Italy, but their slow style can often be boring as hell too).

I thought City played very well and I thought Inter played OK, but they didn't deserve to win. Inter's forwards and midfielders were very selfish with the ball and their team didn't look like they had much chemistry.

Gasperini is stupid if he thinks selling Sneidjer is a good idea, that is my opinion. Inter ALWAYS sell their star players when they need them most then go on a winning drought. That is their history, a club ran by morons.

Anyways I hate Inter and everything about them (horrible fans, horrible club management, horrible footballing style and philosophy) so I was very pleased to see them lose even if it was just a preseason match.

I am a big fan of Mario Balotelli, I think he's probably most talented player in the world right now (TALENT as in not 100% tapped yet), he has some problems but he's 20 years old and a lot of 20 year olds I know do far worse LOL.

I like Dzeko, David Silva is one of my favorite players from La Liga and Valencia, and Yaya Toure always has my full support for his amazing dedication and performances during his time at Barca (I was and still am one of the few people that was adamant against selling him).

And most of all I fucking HATE Manchester United so I hope you guys beat them next year in all competitions.

Why wasnt Weiss on the bench in last match? Injured or Mancini prepare to loan him? He has potential to be back-up creative midfielder behind Silva.

he played most of the first game, didnt really do much creatively .... he going on loan again this season.

if we dont get Nasri or Sneijder, can see SWP being used as a backup to Silva, he seems to be drifting more into the Silva role every game now.

Actually many on ragcafe saying we look powerful.

TBF most of them with the odd exception are fairly realistic about the threat we pose now. The loons over at RAWK however are as delusional as ever.
