.. I am what some of you call a plastic fan.

I live in Ireland and have supported Man City for 30 odd years and have travelled to many home games Maine Road and City Of Manchester. Sea sickness delayed flights swine flu but have never regretted a moment even though I'm surrounded by rags and dippers over here.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all our away fans you have been fantastic over the years but this year have been unbelievable. I don't think it's a coincidence that we have the best away record in the prem this year.

here's to the 12th man on away days and let's do them proud on home days.

New Year to all bluemooners and here's to years of payback.
 
I shall see you all in Feb for the Brum away game! (can't spell the actual place so brums will do for now)

That will be my first game this season like last season and then hopefully my first home match! Eventhough i've been a supporter for atleast 6 years. :(
 
except the local games like wigan, blackburn, bolton i agree.
midlands/london/north east are all brilliant for atmosphere when we go.

Im not sure that it is that the most vocal supporters go to away games or that a lot of the away support have been on the soup for a couple of hours before the game, rather than an hour for home games

Our committed fans go to the away matches, its a jolly and a match watching the lads.
My son is 20 cannot believe how we played it up till the Premier ticket in advance senario.
What ?
You had a ring round either the day before or in the morning of the match and just set off ?
Drove up, found a pub and paid at the gate with cash ?
Yup
Maybe I am getting old but life was simpler then.
