I’ve never really thought maroon and sky blue go well together. But a bit more like the 1956 FA Cup final kit (with the gold on the crest) maroon and gold go together well.

This as a sash across the kit would be close to unbeatable.

That’s a throwback, not seen that in years!
I used to like lazio because I had a random old football annual I found in some abandoned council houses on my estate and it had gazza in his sky blue shirt, I was buzzing! Gazza in sky blue!
