This one, I remember the version when the stripe ran down from the other shoulder, my first ever kit in '76 or '77 bought from Sugg Sport in Stockport.

Best top 5 kits for me are:
1- when we retained the title at Brighton. Sadly cannot find it no longer.
2- the centurions 3rd kit, its combativeness.
3- the sash! in red n black.
4- third kit from 2013/14, just seen last sunday an exact copy been worn by Lazio.
5- the blue on blue 15/16
    Aye, I'm a johnnie-cum-lateleh foc.

Umbro did some nice shirts round this time, this particular shirt also doesnt have the chest taken up with sponsors logo. Also liked the all maroon kit of this era.

The all maroon one with the Brother logo, that was my favourite of all time.

I also liked the red and black chessboard with the Philips logo circa 1987. I think it does depend on when you started watching city.

Anything neon or dayglo has no place on a matchday kit, keep it to the training ground. I even detest the silver / dayglo yellow play-off final shirt, I don't care what it "meant", it was gipping. Yeah I said it.

Although I love this kit the beswick buzzard as the badge puts it behind the rest, re do it now with the present crest and it would be third best evoh

The puma gear is garbage. Red and black away is imperative imho
