Would you rather have 25 years old KDB on the squad or the same of age D.Silva to build team around

I think people are just forgetting how good KDB actually was (is?). For this era of the PL i think he will go down as the greatest player, an absolute superstar who showed up in the biggest games.

True but I used to love watching Silva for his grace and composure on the ball, he had a left foot that could open a tin of peas.

That’s purely hypothetical. Compare their respective long term fitness/injury records. KDB would possibly win for best flashes while (for me) Merlin would take it for sustained influence/contribution.

KDB is a legend but his injury record is terrible unfortunateley.
How many games has he played for us over the last 18 months??

I genuineley feel if he had dropped Belgium he would have had much more rest time which they are all craving

100%, Dave was amazing. I just think KDB is special, i put Dave alongside someone like Iniesta in terms of talent but i can't think of anyone that is as devastating from the 8 or 10 position as KDB in what he can do.
 
Kev a genius. Bell a generational talent. Yaya a beast. Same with Rodri. Kinky mesmerising. But for combo of genius and consistency think it has to be David Silva. Just. Or Kev. Or Colin the king as he’s the reason I support city. Arghhhh.
 
It's amazing how many players coming up in this discussion often shared the pitch with each other. We have been so very, very lucky, especially in the last seven years. Looking back, it really is no surprise that we got 100 points and won the domestic treble with players like Kompany, D. Silva, De Bruyne, and Aguero in their prime and minds like Pep and Arteta in the management team.

No other team in the history of English football could produce a photo like this.

Can anyone find a comparison of Aguero’s goals to XG compared to Haaland’s?

I presume XG didn’t start until midway through Sergio’s career but we can still compare the data sets with what’s available. I thought it would be a simple google search but I can’t find it.

Can’t speak on the older generations but the best in my lifetime, for me is Kevin De Bruyne. Delivered big goals and assists year in year out.

Silva as amazing as he was, for much of his time here he frustrated the crap out of me with his finishing. However he did put it all together in the centurion season which was arguably the best individual season I’ve seen from a City player.
 
Kdb is the best, better than david silva if we are being honest with ourselves. Kdb is probably top 3 PL greatest of all time. David silva was brilliant to watch, and extremely skillful, but nobody beats kdb's productive output and numbers
