Good post. I'd say we're the slowest team in the league.

It's one we kind of work around with the short passing game but I've been banging on all season that we need a plan B against teams who defend.

That plan B for me should be overlapping/getting behind the line on the flanks, and whipping balls in the box. Dzecko appears to solve half that problem, but SWP is the only attacking player with any pace who can penetrate on the flanks. His confidence is down and he's not getting games which excaberates the problem.

That is what the FB's are for with our system. Another reason why Micah doesn't get as many games as he would like.

So far I've not seen any one of our fullbacks show the technique and end product required to do the job which is asked of them in our formation. Certainly not with any consistency...that's probably why there's been so much chopping and changing.
