Our Captain Carlos

The TV keep showing Rooney every 5 minutes though !!!

Exactly. It will have been excruciatingly embarrasing for him, and possibly his team mates. Imagine Berba looking up at the big screen after his miss and seeing Rooney's reaction.

I have no idea what is going on with Carlos, so I have to think it was for the best that we weren't in that situation.

Carlos can fuck right off and away from our club, he's a **** and today proved we're bigger than him. Give me super mario anyday.

Let's not hang the guy out to dry there maybe a perfectly legitimate reason he wasn't there and even if their wasn't I'm sure it'll be Mancini's fault. I just wish Carlos loved the club as much as we do. On the pitch you can't fault his commitment but he has disrespected us off the pitch

I thought he was the dogs but not turning up to support his team mates is a disgrace. Fuck off Carlos we can and will be a success without you.

Didn't matter to me whether at Wembley or in Italy having surgery on his hamstring (no doubt being wined and dined by Inter at the same time). Nothing against Tevez if he leaves good luck to him, boys showed today we don't need him (we do need Silva and De Jong though).

Let's not spoil an amazing day by crucifying one of our own without knowing the facts.

If MCFC have agreed he can be elsewhere in the hope of getting him involved in our 7 remaining cup finals then that's good enough for me.

There are reasons why he's shortlisted as player of the season - and its based on his contribution to us being 4th in the table and FA cup finalists.

OK, so let me pose a question:

Does anyone feel that getting one step closer to the FA Cup (and of course potentially winning it) and having Champs League in our sights is enough to make a player such as Tevez change his mind if he is in any way inclined to leave?

I am curious what other Blues think. I guess I just feel that this is part and parcel to what professional footballers are these days, oftentimes.

No:

He doesn't rate Mancini and a player of his calibre does not have to stay where he is not content.
All the same, we have a better flow without him.
