He will be back tomorow for the PFA awards.

This is a really interesting comment and something I hadnt thought about.

Ive said my piece elsewhere on the situation, but if he shows up for the chance of an individual award and not his team going through to the cup final, we are better off without him, I couldnt give a fuck how good he is.

I thought team spirit was excellent yesterday - not just at the final whistle but throughout the game. Considering the comments made about team spirit against Liverpool especially in regards to the Tevez injury do we think Tevez is a popular member of the squad? I wonder how much of the 'dressing room unrest' is down to him?

My own observations are that Lescott, Richards, De Jong, Kompany, Hart and Zabs all seem pretty popular amongst the squad. I know he has scored a tremendous amount of goals for us and you cannot doubt what he does on the pitch but is his importance to the squad overstated by everyone claiming we are a 1 man team?

An awful lot of unsubstantiated speculation on yhis thread.
If I was in charge I would rather my star player being away
getting fit than watching the game. As far as I know Carlos was
not at PFA dinner.

I dont think Tevez ever came to City for anyone but himself, Thats not a bad thing as i dont see many of our players who came for any other reason.

Carlos came here because he had a point to prove, I think he has made his point.

I dont think its anything against the fans or the club, just he came here to prove he was a world class player and Fergie was wrong. Now he has made that point he needs to move on to his next challenge.

If he leave's he gave us two amazing year's and a lot of great memories. He should be allowed to leave with us gutted, but not against him.

This. We dont know the real reason why he wasnt at the game. He could've have been told to stay in milan and get fit.

Can't agree,if he wanted to be there he would have been.As club captain i can't see any excuse,a poor decision by any concerned.
A few hours spent attending Wembley would not have damaged his rehabilitation whatsoever, the same cannot now be said for his reputation.
