Our Club is changing

speaking to a woman at the green man before the final, asking where she was from she replied 'ashton'

'fucking ashton!! thats at least 6 miles away from our ground you plastic woman!' i said before spitting in her pint and pissing up her leg....have i done the right thing?
That was my fucking Mrs! Don't worry though, she's used to it.

I think a lot of people have taken mcfcliams posts a bit to literally.

I think he is just weary of the club becoming full of passionless visitors who are there because city are succesfull. While this is probably inevitable, and good for the club, it doesn't mean to say that we should be happy about it.

I'm pretty sure someone like mcfcliam would welcome a fan from wherever if they demonstrated true love for the club.

I personally would welcome a global fan base as it is a sign we have arrived. Its not going to change how I feel about the team and how passionate I am. If we do get someone who doesn't know our managers before Mancini then its their loss.

What I think is more irritating is the whole "corporate" side of things. I'd hate a blue missing out on a seat because someone has decided to bring their business partners. That said, I've done exactly the same to the likes of chelsea and arsenal, so I'm being hypocritical.

ps - I wish I knew the cool places to drink in Blackburn. I bet where you're going is so working class, it's got sawdust on the floor and no toilet. You're keeping it real.
He is right on this one though. The Fernhurst is a shit place to drink. That said, nobody goes for the beer. Which is why the best way to do it though is to do your drinking elsewhere and then move on The Fernhurst.

Just drink cans in the car park. I can't remember having ever been inside the gaff to be honest.

Best laugh is outside. And I drink cider not girly beer.

I just got back to the States--I came over for the 3rd round League Cup and Everton matches. Some of these thoughts posted by mcfcliam and others are not representative of the people I meet throughout Greater Manchester, for once again, I was welcomed everywhere. I did the stadium tour, ate the best fish and chips in the land and all the world, learned the Balotelli song, dropped 180 quid in City store on various items--including a full kit with Silva 21 for a three year old, got to stand in awe of the FA Cup, and drank at Hare and Hound, Crown and Anchor, Sinclairs, Old Wellington, Deansgate pub, City Road Inn, Eastlands Pub ( I am now on Mickey's speed dial) Mary D's, Townley, and Rising Sun and Crown in Bredbury. At each Pub, at each restaurant and coffeeshop, at each store, on my multiple train and Metrolink rides, and at my hotel, I met class people who wanted to meet me, talk, drink, and share experiences with me. Thank you, Manchester, for the brilliant time once again. I am already planning my next trip for this Spring. Jim

post script--I have now seen 4 games at CoMS--pardon me, I mean Etihad Stadium--and now have seen 4 clean sheets and 8 points!! Life is good!

Let me know how you feel when Eastlands is heaving with these kind of supporters.

Until then, you lot just keep attacking.

Which, the foreign looking lads, or the ones in the zany wigs? Which ones do you reserve the most hate for? Are the zany wigs from Manchester? Do they sing? We need answers.
Beguning to suspect that our Liam is a tad bit racist (sic) and shame on the mods for allowing that picture . Cant be very welcoming for our asian blues. To say or do nothing is to take sides
