Just a thought. As the rags are clearly shitting themselves about the events that will inevitably unfold over the coming years, it seems that the only insult they feel worthy throwing at us it that we play our football in our glorified council house 'Eastlands'

So, lets look at theye situation. The Yanks who now own Manure have secured massive amount of debt secured mainly on assets like the Meccano set. In return for the this, they charge exorbitant levels of interest to the club (think Welcome Finance typical APR's) so effectively the club rents the Maccano set off its owners 'Buy to Let' style.

So the reality is clear, Eastlands - a Council house with reasonable levels of rent set and regulated by the government. Or Old Trafford - An abortion of a stadium, owned by Americans and rented back to the scum at 'Buy-to-Let', sub-prime levels of interest, seemingly, forever .

Just a thought.

Ive never once read on here or anywhere else that therye debt can be referred to in the terms of a 'buy to let'. Ive only ever come across articles, explaining that financial theyre as good as fucked.

Fair doo's. Im just hearing it more and more recently. Once you take money out the equation, quality of playing staff and hopefully trophies. There's not much left they can throw at us and they know it.

Just tell them that their ground was rebuilt by the government and the main stand was government funded for the world cup in 1966. While the council make money on our attendances (probably more by now than it cost for them to fund the difference our contribution left), the government get fuck all back from United. So we pay our way while they were just beggars. Usually confuses them.

ITS NOT a council house,please tell ALL the swamp dwellers that.We own 34000 ish seats at coms,we only pay rent on any attendance we get over that..Its like owning a house but renting a garage from the council.As part of the deal the council can dictate to use reg putting MCFC in the seats,but I think however that it is limited in time.In other words in future we can do that.The latter bit reg mcfc is what I;ve heared but I have not had it confirmed.I;m 100% reg the seat ownership though.

I dont know about you, but I think it's better a Manchester council house (With a percentage of gate profits going towards the benefit of our fellow Mancunians) than that scaffold shithole in Trafford that has fuck all to do with Manchester.
