Our next 4 games

Been looking at our run of league games up to Everton away in January, if ever there was a time for us to find some form, this is it.

Our biggest hope at the moment is the law of averages.

Sooner or later, we're going to win at Southampton, win (or even play well) at Sunderland assert ourselves in the Champions League, stop picking up silly injuries, stop rotating, make the right substitutions at the right time, and turn possession into goal scoring chances,

Oh, and Jovetic's flicks might start coming off.

We will beat Swansea.

We will beat Bayern, who will rest two or three key individuals.

We will draw at Southampton.

We will lose 1-0 at Sunderland.

Again.

Think it was about this time last season when our away form really picked up and we went on a run right through to February unbeaten iirc.

We'll beat Swansea but make hard work of it. (W 2-1)
Draw at home to Bayern. (2-2)
Can't see us winning at Southampton on current form, probably lose that one. (L 1-2)
Finally beat Sunderland away though, for some reason I think quite comfortably. (W 3-1)

Think we'll comfortably win all of them outside of Munich at home

What makes you think that? Especially Southampton away.

I don't think we're as bad as people are making out, and that our problems are down to poor physical preparation at the start of the season and a mental pressure coming from the fans and media that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I think a break away for much of the squad, new faces and new people to work with will help clear everybody's heads so when they get back they will be refreshed mentally and the pressure will be lifted somewhat

The international break often works as a reset button for form and I tend to side that there's nothing fundamentally wrong with City at the moment, just a lot of little things that have built up. We could point to the poor pre-season, the messing about on Mangala that got him here two months later than expected, not replacing Negredo after his sudden request, decisions that have gone against us from refs, individual mistakes in the game, the UEFA stuff, the attendance against Roma and the atmosphere around the place in general.

A week completely forgetting about City and instead concentrating on a different team and a more relaxed/jokey attitude that international camps tend to have will clear the minds of the self-doubt and frustration creeping in.

Couldn't have come at a better time for us really.

Sorry I just don't think the international break will suddenly make our defence look solid. We'll still look very weak and vulnerable on our left side whether it's Kolarov or Clichy and we'll most likely carry on this pissing about at the back causing joe to kick it out of touch losing valuable possession. The next few games are against teams that press and play with pace and energy which we typically struggle to deal with. The Munich game frightens the life out of me in terms of what it might do to the players confidence. So all I all I'm not at all confident about getting many points out of the next few games.of course I'll be delighted if I'm totally wrong.

Clichy and Kolarov have now both won 2 Premier League titles, the idea that they've both become weak and vulnerable in the last 5 games is daft. As is the idea that one of the best defences in the league has suddenly gone to pot.

As I said, there's nothing fundamentally wrong with City. It's just one of those times people are looking at form and not the bigger picture

I think maybe raggy Bardsley may have been our Sunderland jinx ...He's now left Sunderland, maybe we won't lose away again there 1-0 ..Hope his new team doesn't beat us 1-0 ...Argghhh.

I looked at those fixtures and thought exactly what you said.
