I hate to say this, but you may call some new fans as plastics or glory hunters when City had won so many trophies and awards over recent years, but at present, you can't.

The business side of the club is quite rightly trying to attract new fans.. so we shouldn't really have a problem with them and they should be welcomed.
I think the ones that get the grief and cause resentment on here are those that start the kneejerk shit when they haven't got a clue what real disappointment is... in which case the disrespect shown towards them is understandable.
One thing to remember is that anyone who actually is a bandwagon jumper will not get anywhere near the levels of satisfaction that long term supporters will reach when success comes.

In this rag infested part of the world that is West Cumbria,i welcome the sight of any new City supporters i may come across.Although their always something nice about being one of the few that followed City in my town amongst all the crap Man Utd fans.

We all become fans to taste success ? Not 100% correct. I had no choice, once a blue always a blue, born into it. Yes I am still dreaming of success but if it don't ever come guess what ?

personally the biggest thing for me since the takeover is getting over the fact that city are no longer a yo-yo club, no longer the under-dogs, no longer the little fighters...the reasons i became a city fan in the first place.

it's a strange feeling because ultimately we all become fans to taste success and see our team at the top, but now we are heading that way i feel i have lost some of my identity as a city fan......gonna take a lot of getting used to ;)
