If micah could Go 10 games without an injury at the Moment id put him in ahead of Maicon but otherwise that's the Best starting 11 without a shadow of a doubt !

---------------------------Hart----------------------------

---------------------------Garcia--------------------------

----Silva-----------------------------------------Nasri----

----------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------Pantillimon------------------------
Zabaletta-----------Nastasic---------Toure--------------Kolarov
Milner ---------------Rodwell--------------Barry------------Sinclair
--------------------------Balotelli-------------------------------
---------------------------Dzeko-------------------------------

And thats missing out Maicon. Not a bad first and second team. The second team isn't amazing but has an all English midfield which is pretty good. Although I don't think we'll ever see the second team all play at the same time.

hilarious how everyone's throwing garcia and maicon in when they haven't played a minute in our team, not that i'm saying they won't do well but a bit early to judge our best team yet.

We have a winner!! ...take a bow son :)

By the looks of it on paper, if Mancini is set on 3 at the back, then this looks like our strongest possible lineup. Maicon and Clichy been free to bomb forward and give us that much needed width while Garcia fills in wherever necessary.

The problems crop up when you start looking at the bench and who would take up those places. My personal choices would be:

Pantillimon
Nastasic
Zab
Barry
Milner
Nasri
Dzeko

But even then there are till some big players who don't even make that list... Mario, SS, Kolarov, Kolo, Rodwell.

Mancini's job in keeping everyone happy has been made a lot harder. Hopefully everything stays calm.

the advantage of 3 at the back is you can play two strikers up top its really more 3 4 1 2, the system suits us unfortunately the personel against liverpool didnt zab and kolo at the back and kolorov/milner as wingbacks killed it

I would swap Barry ( Barry plays well, City win) for Garcia, but apart from that it's pretty much nailed on.

Totally irrelevent however as it's a squad game these days.

Europe;

-------------------Hart-------------------
-----Richards-----Kompany-----Lescott------
--Maicon----------------------------Clichy--
-----------------Yaya Youre----------------
-----Silva-------------------------Nasri----
------------------Tevez------------------
-----------------Aguero------------------

Premier League;

-------------------Hart---------------
---Richards--Kompany--Lescott--Clichy---
-----------------Javi Garcia------------
-----Silva--------Yaya Toure----Nasri----
------------------Tevez--------------
-----------------Aguero---------------

People seem to have forgotten all about Barry, I'd have him starting as many games as he possibly can as a first choice midfielder.

Four at the back:

--------------- Hart ---------------

Zabaleta--Kompany--Lescott--Clichy

----------Garcia-----Yaya----------

Silva-----------Aguero--------Nasri

----------------Tevez--------------

Three at the back:

--------------- Hart ---------------

----Zabaleta--Kompany--Lescott----

Maicon--------Garcia----------Clichy

-------Silva----Yaya----Aguero-----

----------------Tevez--------------

Surely we'll take the same approach as last season and rotate Zab and Kolarov with Micah and Clichy for the European games. The point of having a squad this size is to utilise it and use it to the best of it's ability.

By the looks of it you've made one change for the PL squad and that simply woulden't be possible. As someone said before, it's a squad game nowadays and if we want to retain the league, get out of our CL group and have a right go at it then rotation is key.

We need to make the most of what we've got.

Thats a great point, on reflection I probably should have put him in the top team.

Roberto has some tough decisions ahead of him, just narrowing it down to the 18 man match day squad will be quite difficult. Thankfully we should have lots of games to keep everyone happy and playing.

Maybe move Garcia into defence for Lescott and bring Barry into the midfield

This is a killer squad. This should be our Champions League line up.

He kept everyone happy all last season (except for the Tevez thing, which has now been recovered). These players will all understand the necessity for rotation or we would never have signed them. And we walked away from Hazard when he tried to guarantee a first team spot for himself.
