But we're only just starting out with the transformation of the club at all levels. Txiki only came in November last year and the new Academy isn't even open yet. We've not had a good Academy for a long time, we've produced a lot of players at Lg1 standard and the odd one a bit better but West Ham and Boro have produced more high quality players than we have over the years so we're building from a low base. It will take a long time before we see the Academy come to fruition for the level of club we aim to be.

Look at Chelsea, they've put a lot of time and money into developing their Academy in the last decade and don't have a single player from it who is a regular feature in their starting XI.
