Rightly so, we are all in awe of David Silva, Kun, Kev, Gabby J etc, and rightly so. But we have Fernandinho who is, in my humble opinion, absolutely crucial to the cause.
He prowls and patrols the midfield and is a vital cog in our team. Awesome player who is sometimes underestimated. We are very lucky to have a player of his caliber.
Saw an article today that mentioned that some players may not be around next season and he was mentioned. To even think that he won't be with us next season is unthinkable .
A certain Leon Osman also agrees with you. Said today on Sky, that he allows all our other players to go and do their thing.

A baller is what the youf would call him, and rightly so. He was a no10 / playmaker for shaktar for years in their rough Arse league. I think he learnt a few points around midfield enforcement there!

He has been playing well , I am a fan.
Slots in defence beautifully, as long as he is central he is great.
Unfair to judge him on last season, was playing left,right and centre. I thin dingo has at least 2 good years. Just needs to be managed properly.

I'd agree. I think he has been awesome but we have had the best from him and that we should upgrade next seasonI don't agree actually. I think we can, and should, look to upgrade on him next summer. He's important, since the other options in his position aren't perfect either, but he's not irreplaceable.

The last 3 or 4 years should have proved to the management and some fans that players should be moved on when the time is right, not hold on for too long out of sentiment.
Fernandinho is a fantastic player and has been different to what we expected, but levels above what I personally thought he would be for us. If the time is right next summer to invest in a younger player, with him being 33 then, so be it.
