Our support on here

Nice post pal.

Never going to stop them posting their shit though.
Everyone entitled to an opinion , even if it is borderline insanity.
I've got mates who are fans from the 1980's saying we might as well right off this season. We're rubbish. Obviously I am ashamed of them.we have been that spoilt it's ruined some of them. Keep the faith CTID

I bet the dippers weren't as miserable yesterday as some of you lot are acting right now.

Guardiola has had a bad habit of playing explosive and risky football in the UCL season after season. Games vs the dippers, spuds, monaco, lyon and real madrid last season were too open and end to end for me. I really like the conservative approach he's taking so far. I want us to win this tournament, not be the reason why the UCL is entertaining.

There is a thought process behind Pep's decisions. There are hours spent deciding tactics and game plans between Pep and his assistants. Have some faith in the man.

We are not Real Madrid. We have not won this tournament 14 times to play the way they do and get away with it. Once we win our first one, the pressure will be off our backs.

Leipzig's goal should not have stood. We should received a penalty for a blatant handball. Cheer the fuck up.

I’ve genuinely never seen the support on here be so negative towards the players and manager and I’ve posted on here for 15 years. It’s got to the point where 1-1 draws away in the CL are being treated by many as if we’ve just lost to bottom of the league. It used to be the match threads but now even the post match threads are just as bad.

People have become so accustomed to an elite football brand that anything below it is now leading to bizarre suggestions that the manager who brought that brand of football should now leave the club.

We’re 2nd in the league (2 points off top), in the 5th round of the cup (beat Chelsea & Arsenal) and in a great position to go through to the quarter finals of the CL. If I was reading some of the comments on here completely blind, I’d think we were having the season Liverpool are having. That’s the level of shit that realistically should lead to some of the comments I’ve seen on here.

You can’t be great every single year. It’s impossible. It’s why we’re the only team since 2009 to retain the title (x2) and why most managers get sacked the year after just one title is won. To win back to back titles for the second time in 5 years and to then be in our current position in the 6th year is immense.

Seriously guys, I can’t believe the absolute misery and unhappiness. If you’re so miserable now then you’re going to be in for a rude awakening when Pep eventually leaves and we have odd ‘really’ bad seasons like Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all do. Back the manager and team because they’ll come up trump in the end. They always do and if they don’t win the big prizes, they’ll come back again and win them next year.

Edit - I expect the miserable sods to carry on their spoilt brat support act in this very thread :)
I would imagine that in private Pep would disagree with you, a disappointing performance, we have yet to win this trophy, something the club badly wants to do, performances like the second half make you feel the wait will be a lot longer.

3 away games on the spin. Put effort in both Arsenal and Forest performances. Players in the starting line up carrying out his game plan.

Some people are satisfied with mediocrity, that's up to them but last night and much of this season simply has not been good enough, we have declined as a team, that needs addressing.
We go toe to toe with their pace and we were asking for trouble. Their support helped with their energy. You are asking for too much if you think we can win all our away games on the spin.

Still with an excellent chance of winning a third consecutive title , a favourable draw to reach the FA Cup Quarter finals , one foot in the Champs league quarter finals ,then they will look 25 miles down the M62 and witness a club imploding and out of every competition in February.
Our owners will be very happy at this stage of the season.

Maybe but I also think they will be looking over their shoulders are seeing the pack closing in, we clearly are going to see the Premier league becoming more competitive and more clubs capable of winning it and for that reason I think this summer we will see a big reaction from our execs in terms of a large refresh of the squad.
