Our support on here

Awwww bless......A happy clapping/Pep can do no wrong thread.

If you are enjoying the football we are currently playing, then fucking crack on.....but don't slag others for questioning and criticising what they see as a chronic problem.

This is a forum for healthy discussion,of which most are capable and dont feel the need to get personal, telling people how they should think and how they should support is bollocks.

Live and let live,do not try to shut down the opinions of others and contribute as you feel fit.

There's nothing wrong with expecting standards to be kept. We don't want to live in the past. That shit is for United fans. The plain fact is that we have been totally subpar for the entirety of the season and we are sleepwalking towards a year without trophies.

It's quite a common saying for older City fans that "this is the best time to be a supporter of the club, one day it will all go away". Well, we'd best make hay while the sun shines. We have to win a CL now, we need to retain the PL now, we need to win every pot and pan we can get our hands on now. And if that means scrapping players who don't want to be here or even disposing of managers whose ideas have gone stale, than so be it. We did it with Mancini, Pellegrini, Tevez, Sterling, Cancelo.

I've genuinely never understood most modern fans and attitudes. Resilience seems to be in short supply. We're fighting on three fronts with no daylight between us and our opponents. This has been a weird season but we're in a very privileged place, and have earned it through good football. Tactical changes and experiments are allowed by by far our greatest ever manager.

Firstly we are not "Supporting" anybody in an online forum. We are discussing a variety of topics and in some sections, like this one, the teams performances in games. The players don't see or hear it ( Unless they're on here which I doubt) so it's irrelevant to what happens in the stadiums on matchdays.

Secondly on forums like this you get plants. Not everybody is actually a City fan. Some are obvious to spot and banned, others are more subtle and although suspected are clever enough to keep being negative but avoid being banned. Their whole purpose is to spread doom, negativity and disharmony. They hope this spreads to people who actually go to the games and we drive out key players and the manager, so weakening us. They take schendenfraude pleasure in our moaning and misery if we fail to win games and enjoy doing this, more than actually going onto their own teams forums, or God forbid going to a live game. They are cunts, the dregs of society. If they're not here you'll find them trolling some poor sod on socially media who's suffered a tragedy or a bereavement.

Thirdly as Mancunian City fans we're generally a morose miserable lot, especially us older buggers. We've been there, seen it, bought the T-shirt. We like a moan it makes us feel better, it's a Mancunian trait. A lot of it is tongue in cheek, though the humour is often missed by many. Any real criticism is driven by love. Like a proud parent we know little Kev, Jack, Rhyad and Erling can do much better and when they fall short of what we know they can achieve we express our hurt, anger and disappointment in private , ( This forum) We then shake it off, put a smile on our faces, go to the ground for the next game, put a collective arm around them and encourage them to do better. When other "parents" let their anger spill over into criticising them in public we rally around and drown them out, as we did when Kolorov was getting stick a few years ago at a home game ( If you know you know)

That my friend is it in a nutshell. City until we die!

Think of the Children.

Haaland & Alvarez.

1 is starved of the ball. The other is starved of football.

As for the actual football itself, you can make up your own minds about that.
