Ousmane Dembélé

They're much of a muchness. Dembele is a better dribbler, more creative, better passer. Mbappé has the golden touch.

Either would be a brilliant addition, neither are likely to end up here.

Dembelé is more flexible, as he has shown he can play across the front 3, so would be easier to accommodate with Jesus and Sergio.

Yeh I agree, neither looking likely at all.

Wouldn't count Mbappe out for playing wide then drifting in but Dembele great with both feet, both gonna be great.

Seen today that Barca aren't going for him now, choosing to bid for Coutinho again and Di Maria(Maybe) over Seri and Dembele. Don't think they have a club at Barca so throwing bids around, letting everyone they want try force moves :D

Haha!! Brilliant. Barcelona board must be kicking themselves setting Neymar's buy out clause so low giving the prices they are getting quoted for players.

It's not that Neymar's clause was low. The issue is that they should have seen up replacements before that deal happened. Teams can fleece them as they know Barcelona are absolutely desperate.

It is also that the Barca board is in complete disarray, they have allowed their once world class squad to grow old and lose players (without sufficiently replacing them). I am sure that clubs in the past have offered to trigger release clauses but Barca were untouchable so why would anyone leave. Now, they are very weak and vulnerable and if you mix that with the huge financial gains to be made with a move to PSG it is easy to see why Neymar left.

Agree, they've actually spent some big money in recent years but it's backfired massively. Alcacer, D.Suarez, Vidal, Digne and Andre Gomes have all been very poor.

Doesn't work like that in practice. Fact is they couldn't delay the Neymar deal, PSG just walked up and paid the €222m.

Then there's the fact that either it's a secret Neymar is going and players like Dembele don't want to come or it's not a secret Neymar is going in which case everyone knows your pay day is going to be huge.

Normally these massive deals start happening in the middle of the season, it's no surprise that they're struggling when forced to try and pull one out of the bag within a month.

My point being is surely once they knew Neymar was off they should have started looking at replacements quickly and had deals lined up? It smacks of bad management.

They didn't know Neymar was gone until about 2 weeks before, and spent 1 week trying to stop it.
