so is level two ALL around the ground eventually going to become corporate?

Dont know mate. Send an email to tommy.glicks@mcfc.co.uk. His bonus is no doubt relying on increasing match day revenue and who just thinks about his own wallet rather than loyal supporters.

well he's making a right cock up of things now in the North Stand

East and West stands only
Prices will increase the closer the seat is to the half way line
As I posted above, everyone was made aware of this five years ago

I know it was five years ago because that's when I relocated out of tier two East Stand. The same season the North Stand was changed to the family stand

Dickie, please send me the the confirmation stating that we would all have to move to cater for some half and half scarf wearing corpoarte monkey dated 2010?

Im in level 2 south and have been half expecting to be rlocated at some point.
i hope if we are asked to relocate (or pay more!!) - it is done on the lines suggested by didsbury.
Ideally, any one asked to relocate should get 1st dabs on the new stand or any available seats elsewhere.
Not a bad seat in the house imo!
Not read pages 2 and 3 of this topic, but from what I remember existing seasoncard holders will be first in line for the 3rd tier South Stand which means that those on the waiting list might be disappointed

I am normally in 216 but sat in 209 for the FA Cup game. It was in line with the penalty area in the 2nd tier of the East Stand. Padded seats and brilliant view.

I'll consider moving when the season ends.

Well that's jolly nice of the club to award first choice of seats behind the goal compared to the seats we have sat in for 13 years by the half way line. If tom glicks thinks it is such a good deal I will personally swap with him.

I've been searching the site
So far I've only found this link in which it refers to the "10,000"

His name is actually Tom Glick so I don't think he'd have too much success with the email address you provided!

I posted something about the fact there would be greater discrimination in pricing, depending on where you sat, nearly 5 years ago, based on information I'd heard. Seats closer to the halfway line were going to cost a lot more I was told. That was in connection to a new stadium but the same principle applies to the current one. The problem (or opportunity, depending on how you look at it) is that corporate or premium seats bring in significantly more than the ordinary seats that most of us have. Even the South Stand extension could add £20m to our matchday revenue when all the facilities are in place.

Our £/seat revenue is well below the rags, when you take into account the total revenue over a season divided by the total attendance. The hope is that the increase in general prices might be curtailed if we get significantly more income from premium places.

Keep searching, Dickie.

BTW - not knocking you or having of a go but come on. Is this the way to treat loyal customers??? In any other industry the business model would be unsustainable We are paying a price for loyalty. We're being shafted and its not right as it is a piss in the ocean compared to other revenue streams.

Despite the rumours stretching back a couple of years, actual hard information for the fans currently occupying seats in the East and West stands level 2 has been in short supply. Nobody to my knowledge has been informed of the impact the new developments will have on them specifically, or exactly what will be on offer for the rumoured £1150 a season. If, as has been suggested, all that is on offer is access to 'enhanced' catering facilities then it seems an awful lot of money to pay for the opportunity to spend some more money on food and drink. Quite how the club can soften the blow of what is effectively Hobson's Choice when it comes to relocation is beyond me. Sadly it is inevitable that groups of supporters who have enjoyed each other's company at matches for many years will find that they can no longer have that experience. If the club feel that this is necessary in order for it to continue to progress then so be it, but I'm pretty sure there will be many disgruntled level 2 supporters next season.

Feel free to merge but disgusted with the plan to create new corporate sections in parts of the second tier of stadium. Apparently prices will go through the roof to create a new corporate area. Just what are the club playing at?? Loads of us have sat there since we moved to the Etihad and now we will be priced out. Die hard, proper city fans sit near me and we risk being shoved out so that the club can create a few extra quid to accomodate idiots who know nothing about City. Plenty have had season tickets for 20+ years. Where is the customer loyalty?? Disgusting.

The club informed season card holders of this five seasons ago
We've even had letters and everyfink

You don't own the seat, you rent it.

As has been said, notice was given a long time ago and I think that's fair notice from City. Compare it to renting property, if a Landlord wants you out (e.g. because they are selling the property) they only have to give you notice in terms of months. In my case it was two months notice just before Christmas, it was and is all perfectly legal.

So a notice in terms of years for a seat in a stadium is extremely fair compared to months when it is your 'home'.

You're entitled to your opinion and all that, but I sympathise with those who rent their home.

I'm not in level 2 so I've never seen the letter and my memory isn't great, but I think these threads are about the same thing:

Got fantastic seats in 209 but they were expensive this season and was thinking about giving them up anyway, this will make my mind up for me, each game costs about £120 (excluding cost of 2 seats).

Will revert to being a tourist and an armchair fan.

Absolutely. Why shaft the hard core supporters though?? PB is already predicting profits so why go after the people who have supported the team through the hard times??

I think this is the thread that says it all
I've only looked at the first page but there are quotes from the official letter

<a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=173324&hilit=Season+card+renewal+package+has+arrived" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=173324&hilit=Season+card+renewal+package+has+arrived</a>

I sat in 219 East Stand for Liverpool game and guy next to me is a SeasonCard holder And he said that night that next season (15/16) Prices where going to be around £1100/1200 for his seat, said they were trying to push them out as they want them for corporate.
