Thoughts go out to his near and dear. It was sickening to see but even more sad to see the gawpers on the opposite side just past the Merc garage just standing there gawping. Sick!

Good luck fella.

i guess that makes me a "gawper" then i was there showing concern and and willing the paramedics and the city doctor and medics to get this poor chaps heart going again

me too. I was praying he would pull through. It would have been easier to walk past and pretend it wasn't happening I suppose.

my heartfelt best wishes to his family, I hope he made it.

Really sad news, we were stood near him when he collapsed and he looked in a bad way.

Thoughts with the family.

RIP Fellow Blue, you are now granted the freedom of the hollowed best seats in the house, tap my dad on the shoulder and tell him we miss him, even though he was a rag, he never let on but it was stinking obvious.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your loving family at this time.

watching City really should carry a health warning!!!

Awful news.

I spoke to my ex colleague who was one of the paramedics dealing with him, he said he'd had a straight cardiac arrest - there was no other cause, so no-one to blame.

As I walked past I heard a lad say to his pal "Shit, hope that blokes ok" to which his mate replied "Yeah, only if he's a blue though". I'm not going to repeat what I said to him but he was met by a barrage of abuse as I was so disgusted. Sick bastard.

I'm absoutely gutted for the guys family. RIP.
