Owen leaving Rags

His record wasn't bad to be honest.

57 appearances
18 starts
17 goals.

Having said that, he is the definition of a spent force. America will be his best bet. One last pay day. (If he's even interested... wouldn't be suprised if he retired)

Question whether he has the fitness or pulling power to be a target for an American side. Could see him getting a few starts and goals at a club like Stoke.

Wish he had stayed at Liverpool all them Years back!

Remember that day when they played Leeds and his hamstring exploded, not even snapped but fully went in about the worst possible way

Never ever the same after that, its a shame because he was on the way to being a great of the game

He messed up his career because he left Liverpool. He'd probably be able to a job at a mid-table team.

If Blackpool come up he would be a good signing for them on pay as you play, and means that he gets to stay local.

Like Liverpool?

I don't think he'd be welcome back at Liverpool. Most likely end up in America probably on loads of money.

He will want to stay reasonably close to his racing yard in Chester because he has been semi-retired as a footballer for two years.
It's all about the horses for him now, and has been for some time.
As an unreconstructed gambling addict, his life is all about hoping to get the maximum gain for the minimum effort.
He will hope for a move to Everton, Villa, Wigan or Stoke. He will probably end up at Bolton or Blackburn.
