Spot on, they were taking the piss out of him for producing a brochure as he was struggling to find a club now the press (SSN) are saying he will be a great signing, just what Utd need.

They love the rags so much, they would make out Vassell was a world beater if he was going to sign for the rags.

I know we're laughing at how they have gone from being in for a 30mill player to going for freebies but a fit Micahel owen will get goals for the scum. Lets just hope he stays injured all season.

I'm from Dublin and have been supporting since Kendall was the gaffer...I also didnt have sky in the early days and was resolved to sitting watching the Gillingham final on a completely scrambled broadcast where I couldnt see anything but just hear it.I get over as much as possible and my missus got me a handwritten letter from Mark Hughes where he's given his blessing to our wedding and told us to go make some more supporters.


Now cause I have a dublin accent and dont live on the doorstep does that make me less of a supporter??
The arabs WANT new fans...I say the more the merrier...and look after them when they come.I still remember as a kid being brought on a Tues night to see the Rags vs Bohemians and then on the Wed being brought to see City vs Shelbourne,and I can tell you my life was changed by the travelling City fans that night!(my dad also cursed ever bringing me the rag prick...glad my mother kicked him out!)

as far as I'm concerned mate...you are one of the family. City fans are City fans wherever they come from,and quite frankly anyone who supports City from afar is the least plastic fan you can imagine,true fans if ever tere was. the fact is you are right about new fans, the club want to make us the biggest in the world,and with that brings new fans from across the globe,and instead of alienating these fans we should welcome them. do Barcelona,Madrid,Milan,Juventus,Liverpool,the rags,Chelsea and Arsenal as football clubs mind having millions of fans around the globe buying their merchandise and increasing the profits? do they hell.some of the fans may complain,but it is partly the profits from these fans that help bring in bigger stars and consuqeuntly more trophies,and that is what we want from our club,pure and simple.....TROPHIES!

In reality owen isnt much of a gamble only his wages will cost and i doubt he will be excessive with his demands if he gets lucky enough to get a top 4 club to sign him because i am sure he thought those days were over, and IF he can get through games then make no mistake he will score goals he is one of the best finishers in the game , but if he gets injured or doesnt play what have they lost, a few hundred grand on wages then they can fuck him of in 12 months time.

now owen is more then likely joining the rags he is now one of the best strikers in the world!

Why are they are playing an interview with Burnley's manager saying he thinks Owen will be a good signing for the shite. I am genuinely perplexted by this. WTF? Why would they ask Burnley's bloody manager about it. Why does anyone care what he thinks. Give us a break.

Sounds to me like Burnley are politely saying 'no thanks' to Owen and trying to push him onto the worlds greatest ever club ever George Best, Duncan Edwards, best ever ever ever team ever in the world ever, Valencia is the new Ronaldo, best team ever man yoooonited!
