Blackburn at 25/1 seems generous....
 
On a free he could end up being good value if he stays fit. His goals to game ratio is still incredible he has to have a brilliant season if he wants to play in the world cup next summer.

In a decent side he will still get 20 goals a season easily.

It's all about opinions but i'll disagree with you on Owen, he's lost his pace & will never be anything but a run of the mill average player at best.
 
Well I reckon in he get at least 15 goals in the prem next season at a side like Villa or Everton.....More if he goes to the scum.

Thats pretty good for a player at 29 on a free transfer.

He has to come up with the goods next season though to make the world cup. I think he will personally !

Lets face it Newcastle are a basket case of a club. The ruin any semi decent player that plays for them....
 
If Owen is such a good buy, how come he has spent the last three years at Newcastle being an over priced and over paid nonentity? This is what I would like to know.

And why, before that, were Newcastle the only ones interested him at the end of his MASSIVE failure of a stint with MADrid?
 
Owen is the sought of player we would have been buying about 12 months ago and we all would have been over the moon with him. How times have changed.
