FW Franny...I remembered getting chased by the police horses out of maine Road after one of our post match "Swales out" demos...Great memories...

hi guys, this is my first post on here after reading alot of other stuff and laughing at some of the post,pictures and general piss takes.
peter swales came to city in 73 ( i was 8yrs old ) not knowing a great deal of off the pitch politics i was not concerned who our chairman was but was more worried were this club was going.
enter franny lee the saviour....to be honest was he any better. he ploughed in the money and if i'm write we still owed him a long time after but the club still went backwards.
now if peter was hated that much because he was the soul person too bring city down too the depths of despair, why was it two yrs later when he passed away the minutes silence was upheld so impeccably by the same supportors who called for his head.
it's a funny old game
