Rewind 12 months and the future looked uncertain for Zab.
We had signed Boateng and Kolarov expecting them to be pur new FB pairing with Richards and Bridge in the mix. He was also back on the depth chart for Argentina.
Now he's an invaluable utility player for us with a Cup Winner medal and the prospect of CL games and a regular and sometimes captain for his nation and adored by the Blue faithful.
He has much to be proud of.
