Pablo Zabaleta as a DM?

Well I meant when Micah is fit and starts as RB, and instead of going with limited Nigel in a DM position we could use the more versatile Pablo. If then Micah would get an injury Zab would just slide down and replace him.

What we require from the DM position is beyond what Zab offers. Nigel is not as limited as blueprint wants the world to believe, nor is Zab any more expressive. At best Zab will be a good backup DM to Nigel at his best.

Besides Zab has played DM for us a few times. Under Hughes I remember him playing there i believe,

Don't agree, zabba has a better engine , first touch, passing, drive than both ndj / Barry,
So I think it is a great shout. He is also great having the ball under pressure.

I think he's very highly valued by Bobby.

If we had a shortage in the area at any point he'd be one of the first I'd put into the area as he always gives 100%. Perfect squad player to have.

Though i'm not sure he could bring anything our current CMs can't already, apart from perhaps his never say die attitude.

Although he has done well in there in the past, I think the major criticism of him was that he wasn't very mobile. Playing him next to Barry, de Jong or (last season) Paddy V just slowed us down. Cracking player to have in the squad and I would play him at Arsenal at RB

Zab is a credit, love him to bits, the most pro player around.

Never thought of him in DM position, one thig i do know is he would give it 100% !
