Pablo Zabaleta - The Ironman

One of the few foreign players who have graced the premier league, who actually has the club in his heart,at times is hugely underestimated on the pitch,as the plaudits go to the higher profile players.....

And thank fuck for that :-)
I would just like to mention I do love Zab I just dont see him as a midfielder really

There's isn't anything you can't love about him though is there mate ;-)

But in all seriousness you just need to be a bit more open-minded, I'm not saying he should be a regular starter in a midfield position right now, but when we look at how he was when he first arrived to the player he's evolved into, the change is unbelievable and if anything, it shows a willingness to learn and adapt on his behalf and no doubt an attitude that stems from him being totally focused, a winner and a 'team man', it's these traits which I think would see him adapt his game again and take it another level, and also help him appreciate a midfielders role when he starts as fullback again.

Im open minded enough that if we were short I more than think he could do a job just not his role full term. I think being in a team of class professionals showed him he had to up his game and with the work rate he has it would always pay off. he doesnt have a gold medal from the Olympics, FA Cup and PL winners medal by being average!!

Its a shame his goal ultimately didn't count for anything.

Top player, seems a top bloke, City legend

The thing with Pablo is he plays with the same amount of passion and will that any of us supporters would give for the team. The word legend gets banged around too often but in this case Pablo is a proper Legend he deserves a contract for life at City and the picture of him leaning against the post just showed how much he knew it would hurt the fans because he was feeling the same pain.

Get Zabba's DNA , send it to the sheik and when theres a breakthrough in medical science we will have our future secured for ever. I think Zabbas reaction on the post to their goal was so iconic because unlike sharing in a celebration ,the pain we felt as fans was reflected in one of our own
