I saw him live, my bird got free tickets through work. He was shit, really shit. The best bit of the night was when he said his best mate Jason Mcateer was there and some people started singing a song about him.

PN was OK but like Morrissey once said 'that joke isn't funny anymore'.

For a small time period in 99-01 it was amusing to see comedians shouting 'BULTON', 'FISH N T'CHIPS' but it got old very quickly.

for me PN is one of the great modern comedies alongside partridge and the office. love it.

Have to agree with you, PN is a modern classic. Everything from the one liners to the storyline was spot on. Better than The Office imo.
Max and Paddy on the other hand was dire.

Never used to like the guy, but since getting roped into watching Take Me Out, and now I'm finding that show pretty funny.

He suits that kind of show and does well on it, and makes me and the missus laugh.
