Paddy Power were originally Irish and are still based mainly in UK and Ireland. The Irish " funny jokes" image is their marketing ploy.
They are part of the Flutter entertainment group who are massive worldwide and also include Pokerstars, Betfair, Tombola, Sportinglife, Sky betting and gaming and loads more.
They all have their own niche market.
If you are playing telly bingo, online Poker or betting on the NBA you are probably dealing with one of these companies.

I'd say the company may be struggling overall as todays news is that:
"Flutter could cut more than 200 jobs in Ireland and Britain, as part of a wider strategy to bring its brands on to a single tech platform"

I find a lot of their "banter" is just the same old gags done to death on repeat. It can raise a smirk but it's not exactly imaginative. City = charges. Rags = shit (ok that one never gets old). Everton = points deductions. Chelsea = constantly buying players/PSR loopholes. Might get them a few clicks and comments from the red shirt fans on Twitter, but it's not exactly comedy genius.

To be fair I think it's well done. Same old jokes maybe but they do a good job.

Also the fan denial stuff is good.

Just a shame it's a betting company doing it.
