Also just because I have a problem with irrational belief and harmful actions it doesn't mean that I have a problem with all Muslims or all Catholics.

Fine, some Muslims are extreme in their beliefs (as are any other bunch of people for any amount of things they believe in), but it shouldn't give credence to the belief that "it's okay, they're doing killing and sh*t, so we'll carry on offending" as some sort of acceptance.
It's not acceptable, nor is murder and in this case the purpose offending and murder are close bedfellows.

The Draw Muhammad thing is not how you describe it. It's purpose is that of standing up for free speech. People shouldn't be coerced into censorship through death threats and murder.

But, nor should people trample over others' feelings and religion in the name of 'free speech'.
It is the worst kind of cop out. Mutual respect would solve many of today's problems, religion-wise.

Whilst I sympathise with the more decent Muslims (note that I haven't drawn Muhammad myself) this Draw Muhammad day wouldn't have begun if Islam had gotten it's own house in order. They have allowed this to fester without so much of a peep. It wasn't the Muslim populations who tamed Christianity over here it was tamed by ourseleves (ie. people from within majority Christian populations).
