Gundogan was our best player before he went off for me. The amount of times our players missed him roaming around in free space was infuriating.

I agree, whilst not everything he tried came off, he was by far the most willing in terms of running into space and trying to get beyond Jesus/aguero

Tbf, as a rag, in the first instance his emotions would have been all over the place, seeing City almost lose. Concentration probably went as he was jumping up to celebrate the pen.

Pep will give him the Watford game off and will play a similar team against Burnley as he did against Leicester.
