Palace (A) Post Match Thread

Worst we’ve played all season & to be honest i dont think we did enough in the final third to deserve all 3pts, 2pts dropped is fuck all in comparison to what looks like a serious injury to kdb after that fucking assault
 
Crystal Palace were immense today, to be fair. We looked laboured. I don't think any of the referee's decisions would have affected the result, but that was a disgusting challenge at the end, and at least the fourth in the last few games that has gone unpunished.

Hopefully that one will be looked at again, because the FA is allowed to revisit dangerous behaviour even if a yellow card was given at the time.

Oh well, 48 hours 'til the next one. I'm sure we'll be equally below par then too. The Christmas/New Year schedule is absolutely stupid.
 
Poor performance today. No control of the game in the first half.

We need to buy Sanchez now and make sure we do it quickly. Aguero is missing too many chances now and with Jesus out he needs some competition.

B Silva continues to be a disappointment for me.

Mangala/Danilo combination whilst defending ok, means our build up is too slow out of the back. Stones should be straight back in on Tuesday and we could do with Silva being back.

The FA Cup really needs to take a back seat this season as these some of these players are looking tired now.
 
Fair play to palace for how they played! Get that out the way first.

Zaha is a fast player and an absolute diving c*nt. If he doesn’t get a retrospective ban for that, then it’s clear proof the FA are corrupt.

Jason Puncheon has always been a dirty little bastard but that challenge was outrageous, it’s a career ending contact point on the knee. If he doesn’t get a ban for that I would say I’d be outraged, but it’s so sad that with this FA I expect nothing to be given.

Week in we are getting hit hard, and I’m not just talking the hard let them know youre here tackles....we are talking about the dangerous, putting a player out for months tackle. Kane, Alli, Puncheon, there have been others but I can’t remember off the top of my head.

I believe the reason these tackles are being let off in the moment, and afterwards, is that we are making the other 19 teams in the league look pathetic, we don’t just beat teams, we dominate them and ruin them over 90 mins.....why is this the reason? Because we are ruining the “best league in the world” brand.....

Fuck the FA.

Moss basically said to Palace today - be as physical as you want cos I’m looking the other way. Joke of a ref. Of course people make mistakes but he’s watched Zaha dive like a tart for 90 mins so how can he be taken in by such a ridiculous dive. You have to question his integrity as much as his competence.

Thought we played some great stuff 2nd half & Palace just threw everything at the ball & had a bit of luck too, but great defending by them.

But they can just fuck off.
 
Kev’s gonna be fine. i’ve watced it back and he just gets leatherd in the shins/calves; thats not how you break a leg or get knee ligament damage.

Kdb will have a very short career at this rate..disgusting assault on him once again. I'm surprised he's still playing after the dele alli assault..career threatening assaults. Ban these thugs from the game.they are going out to hurt players. So proud of this team.

I'll say this mate, we lost a lot of bargaining power for Sanchez today, but get him we will.
 
All good things come to an end and so did our winning run, it was a below par performance yes but it was bound to happen one day with so many games to play. Proud of the players for such a magnificient run and were still unbeaten.

As for palace, hope they get relegated. C***ts
 
Thought Palace were brilliant today tbf, gave the likes of Gundogan and Silva no time on the ball and just overall defended brilliantly.

Thought Walker, Ederson and Otamendi were all very good.

Poor performance but I think injuries are catching up on us, no Mendy, Silva, Delph, Stones, Kompany and then Jesus going off injured. Need to spend in Jan imo

And fuck off Puncheon the absolute ****.

Finally what is up with Sane? so poor today
