Palace (A) Post Match Thread

Very tough game and a well earned point considering the fact they were given the green light to hack our players.

The penalty was a clear dive but you knew he'd give it, luckily justice was done and it was saved.

More annoying and even more bent for me was the 3 minutes of injury time. They were time wasting most of the game especially the last 10 minutes where I think the ball was only in play for about 3 mins.

Frustrating game but the lads have worked so hard recently it's understandable they will be a bit tired.

Still an unbelievable points gap let's just hope Jesus and KDB are ok.
 
The EPL the best League in the world. Is it f**k, the game is too physical and Puncheon will not get a long ban for that disgusting challenge. Our players need better protection from the thugs.

Hope Palace go down.
 
So much for being the best league in the world. The best league in the world cannot allow these sort of career ending tackling to go on and on without punishment (worse, it gets praised and applauded by the idiotic masses) and this sort of shocking refereeing. This is not the 1900's anymore. You guys in England need to step up and evolve. Medieval mentality, this is why you won't be winning any International Trophies with your national team any time soon. Currently, foreigners set the standards in the Prem. It didn't have to be this way if the public, experts and coaches weren't so obtuse. I'm sorry to be this frontal, but I'd like to watch you get back to your best. European football misses England at the top, but you are losing credibility by the day. That tackle (and the others from the Spurs and Newcastle games) would be straight reds here in Portugal, without the ref batting an eye, and that's a southern league, supposedly well known in the north for cheating.

Anyway, I hope KdB is ok as well as Jesus. The team looks tired, everyone is clearly underperforming. Alexis should now be top priority. Bernardo can't be played on the wings (played better today once he more or less took Gundogan's role). Good performances from Walker, Ederson and Otamendi.

Hope you guys are back to demolishing others next game. Just my too cents, don't take it as an attack. Cheers.
 
Puncheon should never be allowed to play again after that assault on KDB. His intention was to badly injure KDB, nothing else. I’ve seen it back a few times now, and it’s sickening.
 
Two tough away games is a big ask to get maximum points but 4 out of 6 is still a good return.
 
Fucking fuming over the “refereeing” if you can call it that and the absolutely disgusting Puncheon tackle. I hope that KDB and Jesus are OK and it was a relief to see KDB walking with assistance. I’ll be rooting hard for Palace to go down after that assault.
 
That's two non-penalties given against us in the dying moments, as if the official can't wait to even up the fact we are so dominant this year.

Sergio has no excuse. He's playing like a smacked arse.

Him, Sane, Gundogan and Bernardo completely ineffectual, to the point of passive or indifferent.

We so badly need the intensity Sanchez Cam bring, albeit, hate now paying a premium for it.

Pep didn't say Kev was okay. More like he didn't have enough info. It sounded like he was saying 'before' as in against Tothenham "we were lucky".

I don't think he had much info yet. Albeit the limping Kev is a little good news
