It will be tough as they will park the bus and breaking a team down requires mental strength.

They would be mad to park the bus after what we saw today. We are at home but will be missing crucial players. They won't go toe to toe as it didn't work at there ground. They will have a go though, rather than making it a game of attack V defence.

i would disagree, particularly through these last few games. For me, Sergio has been the issue of late and he needs to sort his shit out pronto

segio hasn't been great i agree, but hes still one of our top goal scorers. sanchez will get no where near as many goals as aguero. i can see the benefits, just not sure if hes the right player.

The fa site confirms 19 games.

Surely not? That would be unfair. Don't agree with the last bit of your post, the guy is a cheat and should be officially recognised as such by the FA....I don't care if it doesn't benefit us at all...it will hurt Palace and that is what they deserve for cheating.

I agree. Only way this is cut out is by retrospective banning. It may not affect us in the short term but will gain in the long term by stopping these cheats trying to cheat us out of points.

I think this game showed us that Bernardo is not a winger. So we really only have two wingers in the team unless Diaz makes the jump.

That would be absurd. Surely the ban punishes cheating not scoring a penalty. The team the player should have been booked/get sent off against gains nothing from a retrospective ban regardless of the outcome of the penalty. The only point of any punishment is to stop cheating to gain an advantage. Which clearly happens if you get a penalty from it.

I agree. Surely the rule should state that the penalty decision itself constitutes a game changing decision - wether the team convert it or not. The aim is to prevent cheating - the fact that Palace could have won it with the pen but didn’t changes nothing.

On another point did anyone spot the corner given to Palace when Walker guarded the ball out? Seemed a strange decision

Lost a lot of respect for Palace and their fans, with them denying it was a dive and not condemning Puncheon and the ref.

They were just dirty today, knowing they could get away with it with a complicit ref, and their shot on target was the penalty from a dive. Even Newcastle created more than that.

If it's that bad today then 2 weeks against Liverpoo is going to be insufferable.

Only our defence was half decent today. The entire midfield and attack were somewhere between poor and fucking useless. This was probably Sane's worst game since he joined the club.

It looks like fatigue is really starting to kick in now. The only positive today is that we'd have lost this match last season. Hopefully De Bruyne's injury is not too bad and we'll have David back for Watford.

The club definitely need to bring in at least one forward in January now. The squad as it stands is not capable of competing on all fronts.

NBCSN showed a montage of some of the recent awful tackles on us. Their commentators (the two Robbies) are convinced our players are being targeted and are not getting enough protection from referees. The tackle by Puncheon was bad but it wasnt the worst. I think that dubious honour belongs to Harry Kane.

What's with all this "Palace deserved a point" shit?...the tossers kicked us all over the pitch and got off with murder. Thanks to that disgusting lunge on KDB we finished the game with 10 men for 3 minutes and they were allowed to bring on their last sub instead of finishing with 10 themselves. As for that shocking dive, my son is sitting here saying he doesn't;'t mind diving "it's part of the game"...really? What utter bullshit, games should be decided on skill, not on serial cheaters like spider head Zaha throwing themselves to the ground. I'm sick of it and the sooner we can give more in game video help to officials the better, it will stop utter chunts like him almost winning games with blatant cheating.

A poor performance but not the end of the world.
Kdb and sane particularly poor today.
Penalty shouldn't have been given but he won't be banned. There was contact - very minimal and not enough to make him go down but will be enough to get him off.
