Palace (A) Post Match Thread

Puncheon's a sly, cynical bastard. He's the one who stuck a leg out and tripped Zabba as he was running past him a couple of years ago. It happened behind the ref's back and nothing came of it. I don't think he even copped a retrospective ban.

Stop praising Palace, they lost the right to any praise after that tackle by Puncheon. That was an appalling tackle and could have ended KDB's season and his World Cup.
If you were a true City fan your overwhelming emotion should be one of extreme anger, but no, you and many others like you on this thread look on the incident as a neutral would with no real feeling, passion or anger for an incident that could have a major negative impact on our season.
You're not City fans, you're just followers.
Go and support someone else.
Len that is a bit harsh have you had a bit too much rum lately?

When is he due in court? I will follow this case with interest.

There were more thana few shitty challenges that went in today, and they shouldn't be excused...but, we're still unbeaten, and still head and shoulders above any potential challengers. I'h have rippped your arm off for us to be in our current league position. We cannot change the result from today, we cannot change any potential injuries or future suspensiomns. nor am I willing to castigate a sibgle player on thes record-breaking team.

our free kicks around their box were all poor today, did we actually manage to get one past their wall and trouble the keeper? Ya Ya's was the worst and summed up his rather ineffectual cameo late on....Sane wasted one in the first half and KDB a couple in the 2nd, were possibly more..
Amongst all Mosses strange decisions yesterday was that on almost all of our free kicks (which all hit the wall) when he marched out his 10 yards he brought the wall closer to the ball. Now if could be his short fat legs but I've never seen a team build a wall too far away...

I noticed this as well. I think Kev at one point can be seen saying ' thats not 10 yds'

I don't think he will to be honest. I bet at least one of the panel says it was a foul and he fell rather than dived.

What happened to that Newcastle player who almost broke Gundogans leg? Nothing I'll bet!

Even with injuries coming thick and fast, the timings and extent of lay off seem to be going in our favour. Didnt expect KDB or Jesus back this season when they went off. KDB back for Liverpool, Jesus back for CL and Chelsea/Arsenal games. Sergio could have been worse after his crash, Stones was a big concern but we dropped 2 points the game before he comes back lol. Mendy is the big miss. When Sane has a bad game, Delph cannot deputise, but Mendy can.

Sick of the BBC cnuts. Making it out like we had a difficult time against Palace and were lucky to come away with a draw. We were lucky to come away with players who haven’t had career ending injuries, funnily enough, nothing was mentioned about those. [emoji35]
If Saha doesn’t get a ban for blatant cheating, then it’s more corrupt than Blatter.

How these knobs say they "deserved a point or a win is beyond me. If a team comes within a bull's roar of us by hook or by crook, all of a sudden we're "lucky". Perspective please. We outplayed them overall even after losing GJ early on which was a big blow. They had 1 clear chance to Townsend and also got a penalty as a result of cheating. On balance of play for most of game especially second half we were clearly the better team. They were the luck cu-ts that came away with a draw and no send offs! Some players had an off game in final third eg KDB shooting and crossing boots not on, Sane etc but that's ok, we cant be hot every friggin game. We'll bounce back asap.

The FA are fucking useless, referees equally so,KDB was targeted and the tackle on gundogan at newcastle was a disgrace, soon the gap will narrow between us and chelsea, and part of that reason is injuries to key players,no one is gonna do us any favours,Zaha should be banned, puncheon warned about his challenge, none of this is any good to us now,but goes to show how honest a team we are, some petulance by some, but we dont have a type of player who would go out and intentionally hurt another opponent,
Bring in the video analysis, cos in fairness some referees are shite, john moss as an example..
