West Ham away a few seasons back was the same. A man in The Central had 4 at £25 each despite it selling out at 6000 points or so. Once we'd lost fourth place then no fucker wanted to come.

It's not that difficult to work out why really is it.

I went to that game but it was like a friendly and 200 or more didn't even watch it. Just stood in back drinking.

Had none of the absent fans booked trains or so on? A City match is a City match and seeing the season off is a must, IMHO.

couldn't agree more. away days are still great days out.

what will be funny for next year as we again start a challenge for silverware is seeing all the 1,2 and 3 post "members" coming back to this forum begging for tickets, like the Chelsea cup game, barca away etc. as soon as we are out off they pop back obscurity.

For West Ham, we had pre-match beer in The Central where their fans were great with us and shared disappointment at Spurs securing top 4. Then we went for a Ruby Murray afterwards. A lovely end to the season where, for once, the football took a back seat. From memory, U****d didn't win the league too.
