Palestine Action

You are making a lot of assumptions there.
There is much illogicality in your belief that people are free to demonstrate and your statement “go and demonstrate yourself and get yourself arrested”…
which is true?

In what way are they not free to demonstrate and highlight the plight of Palestinians?

All they’re unable to do is show support for a handful of fucking idiots who brought the law down on themselves with their stupid actions that in no way helped Palestinian’s.

Or someone that understands and abides by UK law.

Take your pick and if you feel so strongly about it, go and demonstrate yourself and get yourself arrested just like these attention seeking idiots are.

It’s been said, they can take to the streets in their millions for all I and the law cares, they just can’t play silly buggers with the messaging on their placards.

What’s actually important here to them? Palestinians and their plight or being edgy and making it all about a handful of idiots?
Did you see the bloke in Kent last week being told if he was seen out on the streets again he’d be arrested? He had a Palestinian flag and a sign saying stop the genocide. Nothing about the now scary and really dangerous new terrorist group. The coppers said it could be interpreted as supporting the Palestine Action group. Where this madness all ends is very worrying.

Fredom to protest does not extend to hate speech, promoting violence or incitement to violence under current UK law.

Palestine Action openly supports Hamas, a terror group which calls for the worldwide extermination of jewish people and the Jewish faith.

People are being arrested for their mere presence, no placards involved.
People are being arrested for placards denouncing Israel on the grounds that it constitutes support for PA. Read the reports.

What is the evidence that PA supports (the military wing of) Hamas?

You appear to be ignoring the pertinent issue here, which is the fact that those being arrested can continue to demonstrate about what’s happening in Gaza, at virtually any time and place and in any numbers they choose to.

Instead they choose spend their Saturday afternoons holding a placard up, with the ubiquitous smug look on their face, supporting a group which was quite rightly proscribed as terrorist organisation. By doing so they willingly and knowingly associate themselves with people using threats and violence to influence government policy; the true definition of terrorism. And all entirely needlessly.

That’s why they’re being arrested, and so I’m afraid your point about not being able to ascribe the actions of some members to all is frankly bollocks, because they’re choosing to associate themselves with people engaging in terrorism.

That’s also why it’s more than fair to describe these people as clowns. Bored middle class types from the Muswell Hill Revolutionary Front, thinking they’re above the law and that they can do whatever they like. Fortunately they can’t and that’s why they should be prosecuted.
And you'll stop the genocide how? Give me a clown over a war crime supporter.

Don’t need to other that they are at events in support of PA, not the War or to protest against Israel or to highlight the plight of Palestinians, no, they are at events in solidarity with PA.

Fuck about and find out!

Do you speak English? I can’t understand this.

The fact their members have said so once interviewed by Police might be a good start.

As you are one to often say to others; "read the reports"

Like having a placard say "Stop the Israeli killings!" and then having a swastika next to it. The message itself isn't the problem, the hate symbol is. And until the group Palestine Action ceases all known support of Hamas, a proscribed terror organisation, any reference to it during protests will be treated as an offence.

Continuing to do so, knowing this, is next level stupidity.
Funny how none of the government's reasons for proscribing PA included support for Hamas. Even higher level stupid.

Ah I see the little Chairman Maos are out in force again today, arguing for the authoritarian actions of the government they hate because they target a group of people they hate even more: lefty protesters.
It's all you've got isn't it. Insults and slurs.

You'd fit right in with the PA crowd.

Where is the evidence? Quote it.
PA is in my view a pretty stupid organization but that does not justify what the authorities are doing.
The best clue to the mala fides of the gov is the statutory instrument that proscribed PA. It bundled three organisations together as the gov feared not getting the votes re PA. The other two organisations were real loony tunes, but it was a single vote on all three. All the legal problems now stem from that sneaky S.I.

Cry more.

You don’t understand democratic values and clearly don’t support them. As someone posted earlier “and they wonder how the holocaust was possible”
It is not about PA per se. They’ll come for someone else next. This is supposed to be a LABOUR gov, god help us.
You have to nip anti democratic nonsense in the bud, or it spreads. That is why FIVE UN Raporteurs have opposed the proscription of PA. Are they all pro Hamas?
