i didn t wish anyone harm,i just dont care if they are under threat anymore. for at least ten years the media stateside tells the general public they are in a colour threat of attack ( scale thingy ), it`s ridiculous. the public seem to swallow all the saturated media lies up.

Absolutely not, and let's not forget the Spanish and Dutch. Perhaps they were worried that Ted might drive him to school whilst pissed and accidentally drive off a bridge and drown him, then flee the scene, like he did with his unfortunate date at Chappaquiddick.
And Patrick was doing more drugs than Pete Doherty at the time, so knocking him back was probably a wise move.
