Joe Corrigan at his peak was world class. Had it not been for Shilton and Clemence he would have broken all records for England. He was better than any English keeper in the last twenty years.
I respect your opinion and agree to an extent that he was on of City's best keepers, had improved with age, was a lot better than Bonetti and some of the current English keepers, but not good enough to be included in the top bracket of keepers at that period of time. I think only World class keeper England ever produced was Banks.

Ever is a very big word Ray. If my dad was still around he'd give you some grief for that one... He saw the lot over the years, and said that Frank Swift was the best he ever saw.
Personally, I think Shilton was better than Banks. Certainly the best English keeper I've ever seen. Joe Corrigan was unlucky to be around at the same time as Shilton.
