I'm thinking he's been guaranteed all Carling and FA cup games, including the potential final (shame on Mancini for subbing him after a perfect cup run). Isn't that the Spanish way, to play the second keeper in domestic cups? Barcelona sticks with that poor excuse of a keeper even if they are up against Real Madrid and it's a semi final or final.

I really hope this is the case, cause if we are able to keep him at the club, and keep him happy, we are very very lucky. He's too good to be a second striker.

That's not funny, I think he is good enough now too, I also think JH has been in his comfort zone far too long , totally love Joe but he started to look like he needed a shocker at times last season.

True. He should have been brighter than to say he wanted to leave the club in the run up to the final though.

That day Mancini acted like a dick, even panti family came especially from Romania to watch him then found he is benched :)

Fact is, Pantillimon has better distribution, seems to be better at palming the ball away from danger rather than into it and is obviously better at collecting high balls because of his height. Joe was poor last season and needs to step it up, otherwise he'll be riding on his reputation and Panti can be rightly miffed.
