Parade?

Can see it from both points of view, but for me if we lose on Sat night then any parade will be so subdued. Players won't want to be there and fans won't be in the mood for a party. Its the reality of where we are but Saturday night is everything.

I totally understand from the players side, a loss on Saturday would be soul destroying for the players.

Also they are playing in the Far East a month after the internationals finish. So what little pre season training there is will be over there I’d imagine.

After Monday, I doubt the players will all be together back in England until a couple of days before the Charity Shield.

Cancelling the parade if we lose? Fuck that. We've won the double and beaten the rags in the FA cup final, creating history along the way. Who knows when another double may come along again. Celebrate each one as if it's the first and the last. Don't slink off in to the summer as if we have something to be embarrassed about.

A mate's been provisionally booked to work on a parade on Sunday, if we win.

That was a mistake, by the booker. It's Monday...

Im not suggesting we have one the minute we touch down,but a parade in a couple of weeks,if we do happen to lose on Saturday.....should 100% take place.

However when they come back to training, why not have a day for the fans at The Etihad ?

I think virtually all the pre season will be abroad. They play in South Korea six days before the Charity Shield.

They must all be back at the campus at some point before they leave for a tour, so why not one open training session ? or even after they return before the Community Shield.

Though frankly I'd fuck that shit off to celebrate with the fans, I've no interest in it (sadly there will be a contractual agreement to play it).

Anyway lets hope we win Saturday so it's not an issue.
