What's the story with the US gymnast Chiles having to hand her medal back.
Seemingly CAS got involved.

Put in an appeal to debate the level of difficulty marking of Biles’ routine.

Seems they have one minute to register the complaint and they were outside of the timescale, so CAS overruled the changing of the difficulty rating, meaning Biles’ original score stood, demoting her to 5th place.

I don't think this was Biles.
The gymnast was awarded the medal but went to CAS the following day
