Paris Saint-Germain (A) - CL | Post-Match Thread

Grealish needs to learn to be part of the team. KDB is clearly unfit. Razza should not be playing up front. Rodri was awesome. Dias, Laporte and Walker are creating a new unit.

pretty sure pep wanted to bring him here before so idk what youre talking about. pep had a plan with him
Maybe he did maybe he didn’t but if their previous relationship wasn’t a factor I believe Pep would find it impossible to accommodate someone so wholly ill suited to the press in his team now regardless of Messi’s incomparable skill.

messi s incomparable skill got then the victory

Other than a couple of below par individual showings, that were certainly not attributed to a lack of effort,i have no real complaints about that game where our concerned.
I think we were the better team, not by much, but still.....a combination of bad luck,a weakened 11,individual Messi brilliance, and some very, very, suspect officiating, were responsible for that loss and,on another day,and with a different ref.....we would have walked away with at least a point.

On a side note, hopefully Jake Humphrey arrived home to find his Mrs being fucked up the arse by a City fan.

Maybe I'm overreacting a bit, but this game was lost because of Sterling, he's terrible now unfortunately. If I remember correctly, we went back on defence on purpose to try and take the ball away from them and then attack, which we did, but the half-wit Sterling couldn't handle a 2 metre pass and the ball bounced away from him 5 metres and we got a counter and got a goal. He also had a 100% chance to score but the ball, also bounced 5 yards away from him, which is a shame and a disgrace that he plays for the best team in the world but can't handle a ball properly.
Not overeacting at all IMO. He is fucking terrible. Why bring back 9 starters from Saturday but not Foden. Of course its not all on him, but he has been dreadful. So tired of all the excuses. Coutinho fell apart, James, Hazard, ...it happens. Bad enough we have no real 9, but relying on him to fill that role in these type of games is just bad asset management.

"They can take the space," Guardiola said. "They are exceptional players, like Messi-Suarez-Neymar at Barca. Not many teams can have these players. PSG has them. We can't control them. I know two solutions: defend and pray or take the ball and create with it.

"It's hard to control Messi for 90 minutes. It's hard to stop him and we had to minimize the opportunities for him to touch the ball. Tonight we did what we know how to do, good or bad, but we are what we are. Tonight there was also Verratti who was extraordinary and managed to find connections with Neymar."

He is poor by comparison to the technical level of our other players, but he gave his best last night so,although i wish we had an alternative,he deserves credit for his effort at least.

Playing him and Mahrez in the same 11,unless we are down to bare bones, should never happen though.

I feel a Twat saying this.

Soon as i see Sterling Name in the starting 11 these days my stomach sinks.

He fucks everything up,he has no redeeming qualities.Literally every move involving him breaks down .

When he gets the Ball, there is no excitement, you expect him to lose possession, fall over, mis kick etc.

Players have off games. His off games are now every game he plays. He is detrimental to the team and how we play.

If you hit the bar twice in 2 seconds from 2 yards out, you really don’t deserve to win. We’ll win the last 4 games and finish top regardless. On a side note: Ander Herrera is such a twat.
Never forget when he spat on our badge pitch side. Horrible twat.
